Being financialy indipendent


Being financially independent is not just related to money but independence as well. A financially stable person never bows in front of the wrong. Self-assurance and self-esteem come from being financially independent.

I have seen a lot of women out there being taught the importance of marriage, kids, family, and society. But they are not much aware of the importance of being self-sufficient and not depending on others.

I feel the future will belong to only those who understand the importance of investing and not just savings. I won't state myself as an expert in investing but I am not a newbie for sure.

The majority of the people follow a set process- they work, earn, spend, cry, work more, earn more, spend more, cry more well this is an endless cycle.

In today's world no matter which family you belong to, whom you are married to, how much ancestor property you have. Financial independence is really important.

"Invest wisely, so that you can live wisely"

I see a lot of people around hanging out with phones. Personal vs Professional life.

Being a girl from a typical Indian class family, I have been taught that family should always be my first priority. No matter what family comes first. Even before myself. But I guess the teachings never worked for me. I was never enough invested in my family. Instead, career has been my focus since I was a kid. I guess I was around 6 years old back then. People around me were not able t o  digest the fact of me….a woman being overly demanding in her career and with high standards in personal life. Actually, I don't blame them. It's a matter of fact that none of them had seen a girl like me in person before. As years passed by my priority still remained the same. To date, I don't regret the fact of being invested in my career more than in my personal life. Just because that's not how it is usually done, doesn't mean I am doing it wrong.
